Why do Muslims reject Qadiyaniat?

The primary reason Muslims reject Qadiyaniat is due to its denial of the finality of Prophethood. Islam holds that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the last prophet (Khatam an-Nabiyyin), a belief that is firmly grounded in the Qur’an and Hadith. Qadiyanis believe Mirza Ghulam Ahmad to be a prophet, which is considered blasphemous and contradictory to Islamic teachings.

Another reason for the rejection lies in Mirza Ghulam Ahmad’s interpretations of various Islamic texts and his claim of being the Promised Messiah. These interpretations are seen as distortions of traditional Islamic beliefs and a serious deviation from the consensus of classical Islamic scholarship.

Muslim scholars from all over the world have written extensively on this issue. Conferences, fatwas, and legal rulings have been issued to emphasize that belief in any prophet after Muhammad ﷺ constitutes kufr (disbelief). This has led to the global classification of Qadiyanis as a non-Muslim sect.

Emaan e Kamil provides articles, fatwas, and speeches to help Muslims understand the theological dangers of Qadiyaniat, reinforcing the importance of safeguarding the creed of finality in Prophethood.
